Minty Flowers | OMD2 Theme: Mint

Hello dear ladies!
A week ago, I joined a contest sponsored by Jacqui and Friends of CraftyNails.com.  I'm a sucker for free polish and they are giving a few Essie polishes among others in the price pack for Canada.  Initially, the price was what motivated me. But I find I'm quite enjoying the challenge.  It helps me come up with my own designs too.  I would say, even If I didn't win, I would have enjoyed myself and learned a lot.  But the free polish is a great motivating factor, lol

You will find many, many more (no kidding!!!) mint nail art inspiration from the Nail Art Challenge at the bottom of my post.... (hint, hint...)

It is now day 7. How days go by fast! I haven't submitted my day 1 yet which is the Mint Theme.  Good thing the themes does not have to be done in order nor do we have to do all of them.  So today, I want to flashback to Day 1 and present to you my Mint Project, lol...  I started with "Winter Mint" Parfumerie Scented Polish from +Revlon UK I could sense the minty smell as it dried on my fingernails.  That made painting on the nail art very pleasant.  Even when I applied the topcoat, the scent did not diminish.  Only after a few hand-washing did the scent come off.  I thoroughly enjoyed this polish.  I would wear it on it's own.

I didn't really have any plan in mind.  I worked on the nail polishes that were in front of me at the moment.  Black and white polishes are always kept handy because I often use them for designs.  And it did not fail at this moment ;)

As usual, I enjoyed photographing my nails outside with the greenery.  Not only is there plenty of light, I find the greens quite soothing as well...  My Asian Lily's buds are out, I hope I can get many blooms this year ;)  Besides nail art, what others things are you interested in?
