Apple Blossom Cafe | Hillsborough NB

Welcome to the Apple Blossom Cafe in Hillsborough, New Brunswick, where the staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is so homey. On our way to the Fundy National Park during the weekend, I caught a glimpse of this lovely cafe.  We thought of trying it out for fun. We sat on that table on the left of the cafe :-)  Everything was slow and relaxed, a welcome change from the busy and rushing life we are constantly faced with in the city.

Split-pea soup was the special of the day, can't pass that :-) It came with a yummy biscuit.  I totally recommend it.  This book is what hubby is reading to me currently {he likes the suspense and adventure type of novels}.  He is my walking audio book, lol.

Hubby had coffee, I ordered tea of course. This is my first time seeing, and trying the Four O'Clock tea brand.  It's a US brand apparently.  Raspberry and pomegranate was a good, fragrant flavor.  I thoroughly enjoyed it with my split pea soup.

It was a beautiful day, the skies were almost clear.  We dropped by a train museum for more fun.  These trains are the actual museums.  They stopped running 11 years ago.  Flights took over and the maintenance for these machines are not cheap nor is it easy.  Now they are reduced to museums, but grand ones indeed.  Quite the interesting visit.

An Antique shop visit along the way to finish this exciting road trip.  This is a huge antique warehouse, there was old cars in it too, it's like a museum!  If you want an antique-fix, this is surely the place to be.
