A Red Mani with Flowers, Why Not?

Good morning to the girls and ladies!!!
I hope you are all doing well.  Today, I'd like to share with you my "Welcome Back to Nail Art" nails.  I've been on nailart (and blogging) hiatus for a while.  Life, that's what it was, lol!  Hubby gave me these flowers and I feel in love.  I thought: "Red!  why not some red nails?"  And here it is, with matching doticure flowers and leaves to make them even more cheerful!  Do you like them?

Nail Wraps {NPW Deco Nail Art Wraps} | REVIEW | OMD2 Theme: Doticure

On my nails today is a nail wrap that I purchased from Michael's CraftStore here in Canada.  They have the sparing nail art supplies and I saw this one on sale for $1.00 Cad each, can't beat that, right?  I thought it's the perfect opportunity to try these nail wraps. There were two designs available.  Since there is a Doticure theme in the OMD2 Nail Art challenge, I decided to use the one with the polka-dots ;)

Soon it will be summer!  Wohoo!!!  What are you most excited about doing this summer?

What better way to welcome a sun-shiny summer than to wear it on your nails.  :)  I used a bright neon (yes, highlighter bright :) on this design.  Dots, doodles... I thought it came out really well.  Plus some very nice sunshine made for a really nice photo.  What do you think?

I used paint brushes to draw the flowers, a dotting tool for the dots, and various colors of nail polishes for the design.  The base is called "East Austin" by Color Club.  I purchased this polish at a really great price from a department store (Winners, Canada ;)  Please see my haul post for more details.
