Rainbow Bright | Tinseltown Nail's Neon Challenge with a fun Q&A

If you were a bottle polish, what brand and color would you be? Why?
If you can have superhero powers, what would it be and why?
These are just a few of the questions that Jamie of Tinseltown Nails asked...

Jamie of Tinseltown Nails just held a nail art contest with very generous prizes.  The theme was "NEONS".  I decided to do a rainbow nailart so that I could use many colorful and bright colors on the mani.  Earlier, Jamie very kindly sent me a beautiful nail art brush all the way from the Philippines.  She just saw me repost a contest where I wanted to win some nail art brushes.  Then without being asked, she went ahead and sent me this very nice brush (and more...) A rare spirit of generosity indeed.

So, to the best I can, I came up with a design where I could use the brush and neon colors. No, I am not good at drawing nor am I any close at all to painting.  It was a miracle brush {Just kidding...} I did my best on this one. I hope that Jamie and all of you, my dear Nail Art Friends like it.
Part of the contest is to answer a few questions.  I thought these questions were great... although I had to squeeze my brain and my memory banks sometimes, in order to come up with a good reply.  Some of the words are in Tagalog (Philippine Language)  You will find a translation right after. 

With your mani, answer this series of questions:
Why do you deserve to win this contest? 
He he, Inuna mo naman ang pinakamahirap na question... Naku ang dami sa Filipinails and super talented at super creative... Kaya kung iyan ang basehan, talo na ang beauty ng lola mong ito, he he... Pero try ko pa rin kasi I want to join in the fun... malay natin diba?  Baka may "fault in the stars" at magka-chance ako, ngek, he he... (He he, you asked the most difficult question first.  Ouch, there are many girls in Filipinails {Nail Art Community} that are talented and super creative... So, if that's the basis. the beauty of this grandmother of yours will surely loose, he he.  But I still want to join in the fun, who knows, right? There is a "fault in our stars" and there would be a chance for me.)

 When was the single, most magical moment in your life. How so?  The first time I stepped into an airplane!  I was so excited beyond compare.  Finally, I can feel what's it's like to be inside this flying machine that I used to always wave to when I was a kid.  "I'd be above the clouds and I'll see the grounds below!"  There was great excitement.  I felt very special.  Yung fairygod mother eh ginawa nyang eroplano yung kalabasa namin, ah ha ha... (The fairygodmother turned our squash into an airplane, ah ha ha.) But that also changed my life tremendously.  It meant that I am going to have a new home in a strange land.  It meant a new life... So, it was full of promise and dreams but full of sadness too because I'm leaving my family for who knows how long?  From that first plane ride, there was no turning back and my life was never the same.  Parang "abrakadabra" poof nawala ako sa pinas and then I found myself in a strange never-never-land... forever!  (Just like "Abrakadabra" poof, I disappeared from the Philippines and then I found myself in a strange never-never-land... forever!)

 If you were a nail polish (brand and color, please), what would you be? Why? If I were a nail polish ~ actually, I have been wishing that Zoya made "Jem" a brighther color polish, hindi super dark naman... he he... Buti nalang they made "Maya," a sweet, coral color... Kasi I love corals (Kaya nasa wish list ko yan)... In the end, Julep "Alicia" pa rin ako... that's my most used polish, naka-dalawang bote na nga ako.  Love the color and the bottle is tall and slender (Yup, gusto ko ding tumangkad at pumayat ano, he he) (If I were a nail polish ~ actually, I have been wishing that Zoya made "Jem" a brighter color polish, not super dark... he he... Im glad that they made "Maya," a sweet, coral color... Because I love corals (That's why it's in my wishlist)... In the end, I still like Julep "Alicia"... that's my most used polish, I have already used 2 bottles.  Lovve the color and the bottle is tall and slender. (Yup, I also want to grow a little taller and be slimmer... he he... what was that?)

If you had superhero powers, what would it be? Hm, I want to fly! (Parang si supergirl) (Just like supergirl) Why? Lam mo na, ang layo kasi ng Canada eh.  Minsan I wish malapit lang ang pamilya ko.  Makikinail-art party ako sa Filipinails, he he... Wish ko talaga minsan, malapit lang ang mga mahal ko sa buhay, mapintahan ko kuko nila, maki-salu-salu sa pagkain, makipagkuwentuhan man lang... puwede naman iyan sa skype, pero di naman hugable itong computer, tigas eh, ekk... Pag nakakalipad sana ako, naku po, di lang Pinas ang pupuntahan ko... sa Paris pa... diba maganda ang fashion at nail-polish dun? O kaya genie nalang para I can make people's wishes come true.  Pero may tendency na maging sakim ang mga tao.  Kaya sa totoo lang... anong super-power ba ang kailangan para maibsan ang pagdurusa?  Iyon na ang ultimate superhero powers na gusto ko, he he... (Obvious ba na pinag-iisipan ko talaga ito, haha?) (You know, Canada is very far, eh.  Sometimes I wish that my family is very close by.  I can do nail art with Filipinails {Society}, he he... I really wish sometimes that my family and love-of-my-life's are close by.  I can paint their nails, eat a meal with them, or just a chat.  I know we could do that through Skype.  But the computer is not hug-able, it's so stiff eh, ekk... If only I could fly.... Not only would I visit the Philippines, Paris too!  Isn't that the fashion capital and Polishes are pretty there?  Or maybe I'd just be a genie, that way I can make people's wishes come true.  But people have the tendency to be selfish and greedy.  Honestly, what super power is really needed to alleviate suffering?  That is the ultimate superhero powers that I want, he he... (Is it obvious that I really thought about this? ha ha)

How has Filipinails Society changed your life? Nagkaroon ako ng magaganda at very talented na friends who never fail to inspire and support sa addiction ko - lam mo na... magagandang kuko... (I had the pleasure of having beautiful and very talented friends who never fail to inspire and support my addiction... You know... beautiful nails.) Like you Jamie... you are so sweet.  I did not expect to receive a generous gift from you, all the way from Pinas... pero you gave it to me, even without being asked for it.  What a generous spirit!  Tapos eto na naman, (and here it is again) a giveaway!
